Hamish's Dreck
Hamish's Dreck was hammered into existence in 2001 following a Buttershots bender and a desire to do something useful with a pile of leather that had sat in my closet for two years. When I first began doing SCA and renfaires I only had a drawstring cloth pouch to hold things in that was very annoying to get things out of. I searched for several years for a decent leather pouch that wouldn't break the bank with little luck.
And so, I decided to see if I could make something that was functional, roomy, and held up well to running around in funny clothes a lot. I debuted my creations in September of 2001, with low prices and low expectations. But it seems they hold up pretty well. And so, the pile of leather in my closet became a room full of odd lots and finds that I cobble together into hopefully fairly useful items for re-enactors, Vikings, pirates and lowbrows of all types to enjoy. Some of it is really good, some is fair middlin', and some is perfect for anyone with a Mongolian persona.
